The US F1 team is one of the new entrants, and is based out of North Carolina, USA. Former Haas CNC Racing Technical Director Ken Anderson and partner Peter Windsor, an ex-Williams tand Ferrari team manager created this team. The team enjoys facilities in Northern Spain and is backed by high-rollers like YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley. Like Campos, US F1 Team will also run on a Cosworth powerplant. Only Jose Maria Lopez, an Argentine driver has been confirmed for the team, with one seat still up for grabs.

Initially there were doubts on whether the team will be able to join the pack for the 2010 season. The doubts were thrashed by the team and the development has been very evident ever since. With a high tech facility based in North Carolina, US F1 Team is all set to take the racing world head on. Eventually, the team plans to promote American drivers through their team.
